Book, Music & Lyrics Christopher Anselmo & Jared Corak
Directed & Co-Developed Addie Gorlin-Han
It’s 1980 on the lonesome prairies of Minnesota, and the Berglund Family Dairy Farm prepares for the most wonderful time of the year: The State Fair! But when siblings Sadie, Emmett and Eugenia discover an extraterrestrial in their barn, blue ribbons and butter sculptures take a back seat to helping this unexpected visitor. Can they juggle farm life, fair duties, and a stowaway from the stars—all without blowing their cover? A sci-fi romp with a big Midwestern heart, Princess Kay of the Milky Way explores family secrets, the weight of expectations, and how we can reach beyond the stars when our lives are tied to the land.
